International women's day . 10 Indian women who have inspired the modern generation.

On mar 8, International women's day .This day also known as the united nation day for women's right and international peace .
The UN recognises the  day and  pays tribute with a new theme each year while the theme was planet 50-50 by 2030 . this year campaign theme is Think equal , Build smart , Innovative change (Better the balance, Better the world ) #BalanceforBetter .

 now, The women are changing the stereotype of the society . They are the pioneer of captivating change. THE LOVI BLOG salutes the inspiring women of India who give us hope , courage, and confidence to chase our dream ans make them come true.
Here are a list of such Indian  women who have realised their dreams and change the world and continue to inspire women everywhere .

INDIRA GANDHI 

Indira priyadarshini gandhi an Indian politician and first only women prime minister of the India . she served as prime minister from 1966-1977. she was a strong, disciplined , and great leader when it came to defending India interest .Indra  gandhi  was named as the "  woman of the Millennium " in poll which was organised by BBC in 1999 . she also known as ' Iron lady of India '. In 1971 she became the first woman to receive the Bahrat ratna award . she was assassinated by her two own sikh body guards in revenge for the attack on Amritsar .  she sets example that women can create history in politics too.


KIRAN BEDI 

Kiran bedi was first Indian woman to join Indian police service . over her illustrious 35 year of career,she brings several bold reforms in police system Especiallly, Tihar jail which she gained world wide recoginition and won The ramon magsaysay award in 1994. she is not just national sensation but also international acclaim, when she has appointed as a police advisor to the secretary general of the united nation in 2003. kiran bedi  was a former tennis player and went to win several medals . she currently , the lieutenant governor of punducherry.

she inspired and still inspires many women to break the barrier and achieve what they dreamed of - Even if it means that you 're me the only who  dreaming it .





LATA MANGESKAR 

Lata mangeskar is one of the most celebrated playback singer in India . lata was named 'Hema' by birth . she is daughter of talented classical singer and theatre actor Dinanath mangeskar and shudamati . Lata started performing at the age of 5 in her father's play. she began his carrer 1942 with" Kirti hassal". lata performed more than 1000 films and 20 languages . Lata's named records for having sung maximum numbers of songs in the world . she has sung for over 50 years .
she is the second vocalist to have ever been awarded is none other than Lata mangeskar not only this , she has won almost all higher  awards. she got padma bhushan and Padma vibhusan . this list ahead Dada saheb phalke, Maharastra bhushan award , NTR national award, ANR national award , 3 national fim awards and 12 Bengal film journalist association awards are all won by her .

ARUNDHATI ROY 


Arundhanti roy is an author and human right activist in India . The winner of the man booker prize for her debut fiction novel ' The god of small things '(1997). Roy's has donned numerous hat throughout her life. The studying of architecture , Arundhanti had some interest in design , she dreamed instead of writtting career. In acclaim of her advocacy of Human rights, Roy's awarded the Lannan cultural freedom award in 2002, the sydney peace prize in 2004 , ans the sahitya akademi award from the Indian academy of letters in 2006.

ARUNIMA SINHA 

she is first female amputee in the world climb Mount Everest. Arunima was a national volleyball player before she lost her leg. she lost her leg when robbery incident in train was pushed out of the train while another train was passing .
first we would applaud her for strength, courage, and never give-up attitude . she was won the Padma shri award and many other honour . presently, she runs a NGO school for disables .


MOTHER TERESA 

Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhin ( later Mther Teresa ) was a roman catholic nun who devoted her whole life to serving the poor and miserable around the world . she born in macedonia , lived most of her life in Ireland and then west bengal in India .Teresa took Indian citizenship in 1948. she opened a first home and first school in Kolkata  for slum children .  Teresa has honoured several titles and awards include the Noble peace prize in 1979, Ramon magsaysay award, templetion award , Bharat ratna . she was praise by church as the 'saint' in 2016 . Her missionaries of charity grew is more since its Intiative serves the 'poorest of the poor ' in many centers worldwide . she was a woman of god who practiced love in action.

MARY KOM 

Chungneijang mary kom Hmangte, commonly known as Mary kom . she needs no introduction , the pride of india , who has challenging life and won it inspiringly . A mother of 3 children and 6 times world boxing champion and the only woman boxer to have won a medal in each one of the 7 world championship . nicknamed magnificent mary , she is only indian women boxer to have qualified for olympic and winning bronze .Haling the poor family, she made her way up become a world champion through to professional from marriage and  motherhood . Mary married football player K. onler in 2005 . After the marriage her husband gave up football and break the stereotype and became a stay at homedad and leaving Mary free to bring home the medals .

PRIYANKA CHOPRA

A priyanka chopra is an Indian actress. she has been inspiration to many both, within faternity . when she was 10th class , she won the Miss india pageant and she soon followed it by on the top of success , priyanka tuenedher view to the film world and in past 17 year, she has become a star appearing nearly 50 fims . Today through sheer hardwork and perseverance . she has become one of the highest paid actress in B- town . she also work in hollywood drama Quantico which aired 2015-2018 and movies baywat chup the sleeves , a kid like jake.in dec she tied in knot an american singer, songwriter and actor. she gets several awards including a National film award and five filmfare awards. IN 2016  the govt. of india honoured her with the padma shri .


MITHALI RAJ 

Mithali dorai raj is an indian women cricketer and captain of Indian 's women cricket team . she started playing cricket when she was only 10- year old . At the age of 17 she was selected International women cricket team . she is highest run- scorer in women's international cricket and only the female cricketer to surpass the 6,000 runs mark nWODIs .she was first player to score 7 consecutive 50s in ODI . In 2018 she became first player from india ( either male or female ) to score 2000 runs in T20 and also became first woman cricter to reach 2000 WT20Is runs .c In 2017 , she led her team  into the world cup final , the team did'nt win  the hearts of millions . A little unknown fact that she loves dancing and was very passionate about it . Mithali  popularly known as 'lady sachin' due to commendable performance. she is the recipient of the padma shri award in 2015 and arjun award in 2003. Mithali is an inspiration for millions of young women across the world .

 PV SINDHU 

Pusarla venkata sindhu is an Indian ace badmintion player . she became the first ever indian women single to win olympic silver medal, and one of the two Indian badmintion player to ever win an olympic medal other being Saina nehwal . Sindhu who trained at puella Gopichand's badmintion academy came to limelight early in career. this young shuttler is known for her skills , attitude , hard work , and sport spirit . she made every Indian proud in the olympic . In march 2015 , she is the youngest recipient of India's fourth highest civillian award padma shri. she is certainly the most inspiring figure for current generation.
